Notably, Dr. Chandru has developed exercise interventions for community-living elderly individuals in Kerala as part of fall prevention studies.
Dr. Chandru's involvement extends to the "Age-Friendly Local Self-Governance Programme through Neighbourhood Groups" in Kerala, led by the NGO Health Action by People.
