About
PhD Scholar at ElNano Lab, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), working under the supervision of Dr. Subhadeep Datta. Experimental condensed matter physicist specializing in the structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of layered van der Waals materials. My experimental toolkit spans micro/nanoscale device fabrication using optical and electron-beam lithography, wire bonding, cryogenic measurements, single crystal growth, van der Waals heterostructure fabrication, and synchrotron-based characterization (high-pressure XRD and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste). Complementing experimental work, I employ density functional theory (DFT) to study electronic structure, magnetic properties, and phonon dispersion, using VASP, PHONOPY, and Quantum ESPRESSO.
