About
My research focuses on cognitive, perceptual, and decision-making processes involved in learning and expertise development in sport. Situated within the fields of cognitive science and educational psychology, my work examines how expert athletes acquire, structure, and mobilise knowledge across different stages of their career, with a particular focus on football.
I investigate expertise through the study of cognitive processes such as reasoning, memory, and decision-making, using empirical data collected in applied sport contexts. A specific interest of my research concerns the role of digital technologies and data-based approaches in the analysis of learning, performance, and training environments.
Overall, my work aims to contribute to a better understanding of expertise in sport and to support the development of evidence-based training and educational strategies grounded in cognitive theory.
