About
I am a dedicated and goal-oriented professional, currently serving as a Project Associate at the National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) headquarters in Roorkee, India. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University, where I laid the foundation for my passion for water resources.
In 2018, I excelled in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for Civil Engineering, securing a position in the top 10% of students. This achievement propelled me towards pursuing a Masters in Water Resources Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. During this time, my research focused on the intricate study of the hydraulic characteristics of Parshall Flumes, showcasing my commitment to understanding water systems.
Eager to broaden my knowledge, I embarked on a two-year Masters program at the renowned Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS-ISRO), the academic unit of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The culmination of my academic journey was marked by the prestigious "Best M.Tech Thesis" award in the field of "Hydraulics" from the Indian Society of Hydraulics (ISH) in 2023. My thesis, titled "Surface Water - Groundwater Interaction Assessment using Modelling and Geospatial Inputs," stands as a testament to my dedication and innovation in the realm of water resource management.
Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about contributing substantively to the academic community, leveraging my diverse experiences and expertise in hydraulic studies and remote sensing applications.
