About

Mr. P Vasanth is a Ph.D. Scholar in Agronomy at Annamalai University, specializing in nutrient management, soil microbial diversity, and climate-smart agriculture. He earned his M.Sc. (Agri.) in Agronomy from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, where his thesis focused on foliar application of urea and nano-urea in maize, and his B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture from Lovely Professional University. He has presented research papers at several national and international conferences on topics such as methane emissions, robotics in precision weed management, and climate change impacts on agriculture. His publications include research and review articles, book chapters, and popular articles in reputed journals and magazines. Currently, he serves as a reviewer for AgriTech Today e-magazine. He works as a Research and Analytics Intern at Eco Fast Agri Solution. He has also served as a Campus Ambassador for Bioresearch Community and Krishi Career Academy, actively promoting agricultural education and outreach. With professional memberships in AIASA, SESD, and SRMIST Alumni Association, he contributes to academic and community development. His research interests include nano-fertilizers, carbon-smart soil management, and sustainable cropping systems. He aims to advance innovative agronomic practices to enhance food security and farm resilience in the face of climate change.
