About

I am a PhD scholar at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, working on the design and functional modulation of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for photocatalysis and organic transformations. As a research scholar, I have designed a variety of charged, Lewis acid–integrated, and metal-coordinated COFs for diverse applications. One of my research highlights includes the activation of inert C–F bonds using ionic COF backbones. In addition, I have contributed as a co-author to studies involving iodine uptake, oxygen reduction reactions, and waste degradation. Currently, I am expanding my expertise toward photocatalytic CO₂ reduction. Previously, I worked as a research fellow at IIT Bombay, where I gained experience in the synthesis and applications of porphyrin- and smaragdyrin-based macromolecules.
