About
Dr. Sohini Chakraborty completed her Ph.D. from the University of Madras, India. Her research focus was mainly directed toward the development of polymer nanocomposites as biocompatible supercapacitor devices, which can be used as implants and as wearable electronics. Following her Ph.D., she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Research Centre for NaturalSciences, Budapest, Hungary, where she investigated supramolecular self-assemblies and co-assemblies of novel β3-peptides in diverse media using various biophysical characterization techniques, exploring their membrane-attacking mechanisms and antimicrobial applications.
