Rohit Sharma

About

Rohit Sharma is a researcher specializing in remote sensing, GIS, and geospatial analysis. Currently a Ph.D. candidate at IIT Roorkee, he focuses on developing automated models for river morphology analysis. He holds a Master’s in Remote Sensing from NIT Karnataka and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from RVCE Bangalore. Rohit has worked as a Research Associate at IIT Roorkee. His technical expertise spans geospatial software like QGIS, ArcGIS, and SNAP, along with programming in Python and MATLAB, which he applies to automate and innovate spatial data processing for sustainable development projects.
