About
My research interest is the management and conservation of marine coastal ecosystems. During my PhD, I focussed on ecosystem engineer species by investigating their role in structuring and defining benthic communities also from a functional point of view. I have also worked on trophic ecology, using trophic markers such as stable isotope and fatty acid analysis to assess the response of benthic organisms to various stressors (e.g. climate change and antrhopogenic impacts).
