About
Dr. Hima Patel holds a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics, specializing in magnetic nanomaterials and magnetic fluids. Her research focuses on designing, synthesizing, and comprehensively characterizing the structure, colloidal behavior, and magnetic properties of ferrite-based nanoparticles, with particular emphasis on temperature-sensitive magnetic fluids and their advanced functional applications. She has developed strong expertise in state-of-the-art characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), enabling an in-depth understanding of structure–property correlations at the nanoscale. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in reputed international journals and has been recognized with several academic awards and fellowships. Her research contributions center on nanoscale magnetism, functional nanomaterials, and application-driven materials design. She is actively engaged in the scientific community and serves as a reviewer for several international journals. Through these, she is actively engaged in the scientific community and contributes to advancing research quality through critical evaluation and scholarly dissemination in materials science and nanotechnology.
