About
I have recently completed my Integrated PhD in Biological Sciences from IISER Kolkata with a focus on Chromatin Biology, Epigenetics and proteomics. My PhD research was focused on understanding tandem bromodomain-mediated chromatin recognition and epigenetic gene regulation. I applied a multidisciplinary approach, integrating protein engineering, photochemistry, and mass spectrometry to construct proteome-wide interactome maps and identified domain-specific novel interacting partners of the reader domain.
Experienced in cell/molecular biological techniques, photo-crosslinking chemistry, LC–MS/MS, and biophysical/Genomics validation. I am now seeking to extend my expertise into epitranscriptomics and cancer cell biology and am looking for postdoctoral opportunities that integrate multi-omics approaches with translational cancer research, toward building an independent research program.
