About

I am very enthusiastic, avid learner and a good team player. I love to do any work assigned to me for the organizational growth. At present, I am working as an Associate Professor of Chemistry under Department of Basic Science, NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur.
I have completed BSc. (H) and MSc in Chemistry from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan and PhD from National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
I have seventeen years teaching experience and six years research experience.
The subjects I teach here: Chemistry, Biochemistry and Environmental Science.
I worked as an Editor of a book, have published many research papers in reputed SCI International journals and also published a number of book chapters. I am fond of learning new subjects so I have completed few online courses from recognized universities. I have become topper of a NPTEL course offered by Roorkee IIT.
I have two patents. I have done a mini project which includes water analysis and making of a low cost water purifier.
Besides my teaching, I love to organize cultural events. From the very beginning, I am very much involved with the cultural, co-curricular and social activities of my institution.
