About
Subhadeep Mandal is an academic researcher specializing in Water Resources Engineering at the School of Water Resources, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur (2018–present). He earned his B.E. in Civil Engineering (2015) and M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering (2017) from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, where his postgraduate research focused on rainfall-runoff modeling using the SCS-CN method and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). At IIT Kharagpur, his research centers on modeling hydroclimatological fluxes using integrated SWAT and WRF modeling frameworks to assess both short-term weather impacts and long-term hydrologic dynamics. His expertise spans physical hydrologic modeling, atmospheric-hydrologic coupling, machine learning in hydrology, and hydroclimate impact analysis.
