About
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, India. I hold a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Neurology) from Indian Spinal Injuries Centre – Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, New Delhi, where I was the stream topper in Neurology. I completed my internship at Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital.
My academic and clinical journey is rooted in neurorehabilitation, with a special focus on Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). I am actively engaged in evidence-based research, including Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) and Systematic Reviews in the SCI population.
I have conducted multiple workshops and training sessions, including at ISSICON 2024 (Delhi Chapter), on topics such as Advanced Technology in Rehabilitation, Robotic Exoskeletons, and Wheelchair Skills Training for individuals with SCI. I have been invited as a guest speaker to address students and professionals in various academic institutions and have served as an external examiner for academic and research viva examinations.
In recognition of my academic achievements:
Topper in MPT (Neurology) from ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences
Gold Medalist in Bachelor of Physiotherapy, consistently securing the first rank across all four academic years
UGC-NET qualified in Physiotherapy
Rank 1 in the IP University Master's entrance examination
My research interests include:
Neurorehabilitation and functional recovery post-SCI
Use of robotics and virtual reality in rehabilitation
Clinical trials and evidence synthesis in physiotherapy practice
I am committed to bridging the gap between clinical expertise and research, with a vision to advance physiotherapy practices for individuals with complex neurological conditions.
