Dr. Vinita Tamrakar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, in 2020. Her research interests include phytochemistry, natural product chemistry, medicinal plants, essential oil extraction and characterization, GC-MS and spectroscopic analysis, environmental chemistry, adsorption studies, and bio-adsorbent development. Her research work focuses on the extraction, characterization and biological evaluation of plant-derived bioactive compounds, gamma irradiation-assisted phytochemical studies, and sustainable approaches for environmental remediation. She has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals, contributed book chapters, and is actively involved in interdisciplinary research, research guidance and academic activities.
