About
Thokala Latha received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communications engineering (ECE) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur, and the M.Tech. degree in RF and microwave engineering, and electronics and electrical communication engineering from I.I.T Kharagpur. She joined the Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (DRDO), Bengaluru, as a Scientist, in 2010. She has designed and developed narrowband phased array antennas, such as cavity backed microstrip patch array antennas and slotted waveguide array antennas. She also designed microstrip and stripline feed networks for various radars. Later, she joined the Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DRDO), Hyderabad, as a Scientist, where she has worked on the design and development of large variety of EW antennas, such as broad band cavity backed archimedean spiral antennas, base line interferometer spiral arrays, dual polarized sinuous antennas, baluns, and hybrid networks. Apart from that, she has designed microstrip patch antennas for IRNSS and GPS applications. Presently, she is involving in the design and development of broadband T/R modules and its subsystems.
