Dr Manjari Chakraborty, Professor, Architecture & Planning Department and DEAN Infrastructure & Planning, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India has three decades of simultaneous exposure in the Profession, Teaching, Research in Architecture and Administration at University level.
She has qualifications in Architecture, Environment, Information Technology and Research. Her professional highlights include the prestigious “Career Award” by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), along with designing of large number of buildings for the University, as well as various Consultancy projects for other organisations.
Dr Chakraborty is the author of a significant academic book ‘Designing better Architecture Education : Global Realities and Local Reforms’, containing pioneering vision in Educational upgradation in Architecture, alongwith many research publications in peer reviewed journals. She has already produced a good number of PhD Scholars and supervising research projects and research scholars.
