About
I am a PhD candidate in Structural Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar, specializing in interface shear transfer in reinforced concrete. My research focuses on push-off tests, finite element modeling (FEM) using Abaqus, and machine learning (ML) applications for predicting shear strength. I have worked extensively on the role of steel fibers, PFCS fibers, and Alccofine-1203 in enhancing shear performance. My studies incorporate Machine learning concepts like XGBoost, LSTM, and Explainable AI (XAI) approaches to improve predictive accuracy and interpretability. I aim to advance knowledge in interface behavior, shear friction, and hybrid reinforcement systems for sustainable structural design.
