About

I am a Research Scholar at the Hydrogeology Laboratory, Department of Environmental Science, Visva-Bharati, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Science. My primary research interests include coastal hydrogeology, coastal aquifer systems, and seawater intrusion, with a focus on groundwater quality and sustainable water resource management. I also work on groundwater resource assessment, groundwater vulnerability mapping, water quality studies, and the application of GIS and Remote Sensing in environmental research. My research integrates hydrogeological investigations, geospatial techniques, groundwater modelling using MODFLOW and SEAWAT, and decision-support models such as DRASTIC and AHP to address contemporary challenges in groundwater management and environmental sustainability.
