About
After earning my BS–MS Dual Degree (Major in Chemistry) from IISER Bhopal, I joined the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur, as a Research Fellow. My research primarily focuses on understanding protein behavior under macromolecular crowding conditions and elucidating the role of associated water in protein stability. I routinely employ advanced spectroscopic and biophysical techniques, including steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy (TCSPC), circular dichroism (CD), fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), protein tagging, and microscopy. I am independently proficient in protein expression and purification, as well as performing SDS-PAGE with analysis. Additionally, I have developed a strong interest in exploring the photophysical properties of perovskite nanocrystals.
