About

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, PCS is an officer of Uttarakhand Civil Services (Executive Branch), he joined the state services in 2009. He obtained his M.Sc. Life Sciences (Plant Science) in 1999 from Lucknow University. He also qualified National Eligibility Tests (NET) of ASRB (Agricultural Biotechnology) and CSIR-UGC (Life Sciences). He completed his Ph.D. degree in Botany in 2008 from Lucknow University. He also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Banasthali Vidhyapeeth, Rajasthan and taught the students of Undergraduate and Post Graduate classes. He has published his thesis from renowned German publisher and also published more then 25 research papers in journals of international repute. He also published more than 10 book chapters/review articles of highly repute publishers. He also published books on Plant Physiology, Basic Plant Pathology, Objective Botany.
He also obtained degree of M.A. (Rural Development) from IGNOU in 2022 and M.B.A. (Infrastructure Management) from UPES, Dehradun in 2022. Currently he is working as Chief Development Officer, Chamoli and Director of Herbal Research and Development Institute, Mandal, Gopeshwar, Chamoli.
