Yawar Qaiyum has completed 35 years working in the development sector as a social worker. He is working with children with a special focus on health and Education. He has a Master of Arts, degree in Sociology from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, UP. He is currently associated with Bal Umang Drishya Sanstha, New Delhi as a Director Operations. He also got an opportunity to go to California (America) as a social worker where he participated in a seminar on “Child Rights”.
