About
Dr. Tao Anh Khoi is an agronomist, researcher, and academic specializing in organic agriculture, soil health, and sustainable perennial cropping systems in tropical highland regions of Vietnam.
His research focuses on the interactions among long-term perennial cultivation, soil degradation, biodiversity conservation, and climate change adaptation, particularly in tea (Camellia sinensis) and coffee (Coffea canephora) production systems. He integrates field-based experimentation, soil and environmental analysis, and sustainability-oriented approaches to improve yield stability, ecosystem resilience, and sustainable land management.
Dr. Khoi has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications, including studies published in international journals indexed with DOI and high-impact Q1 journals. His research contributions address soil quality dynamics, climate-related agricultural challenges, sustainable tea and coffee cultivation, and ecological approaches to tropical agriculture in Vietnam.
He is an elected Member of the Institute of Food Science & Technology (IFST, United Kingdom), and also a member of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) and the International Specialty Tea Association (ISTA), reflecting his interdisciplinary engagement across agronomy, environmental science, food science, and specialty tea research.
In addition to his academic activities, Dr. Khoi serves as a Senior Consultant in Organic Certification and Sustainable Agriculture, with expertise in USDA Organic standards, compliance systems, inspection procedures, traceability, and sustainable agricultural practices. He successfully completed the USDA Organic Training Program with 84 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and obtained full certification.
Dr. Khoi is currently affiliated with Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam. He also serves as an Associate Professor at Selinus University.
His long-term research vision is to advance climate-resilient, environmentally sustainable, and socially responsible agricultural systems in Southeast Asia through integrated scientific research, practical innovation, international collaboration, and knowledge transfer
