Name: Ayto Addisu Negash
Position: Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, WCU and WCSH, WRU
Academic Degrees: MD, ECCM, MPH, Msc of Project Managment Cand., Emergency Medicine Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Specialty Certificate Cand.

I am an assistant professor of emergency medicine and critical care at Wachemo University. I hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Arba Minch University and completed my specialization in emergency and critical care medicine at Saint Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) and master of public health at Select College. I am currently pursuing a Master of Project Management (MPM) from ACT and Emergency Medicine Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Specialty Certificate from and POCUS Certification Academy (PCA) from Rockville, Maryland, United States.

My research focuses on improving emergency care delivery in resource-limited settings, particularly the development of clinical practice guidelines for emergency medical procedures. I am actively working on the Pragmatic Clinical Practice Guideline: Standardized Emergency Drug Infusion Protocols for Adult Patients in Resource-Limited Emergency Departments, aiming to enhance patient outcomes in Ethiopia's emergency departments.

Additionally, I have a strong interest in disaster medicine, with a focus on improving emergency response protocols during natural and man-made disasters. My work in this field includes disaster preparedness, crisis management, and the integration of emergency medicine into large-scale disaster response frameworks.
