About
I am a microbiologist with expertise in biofilm biology, microbial ecology, and pathogenesis. I completed my PhD at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where I studied polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) degradation by marine biofilm-forming bacteria, highlighting the role of quorum sensing and extracellular polymeric substances in enhancing biodegradation.
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, I worked on mRNA vaccine development against Japanese encephalitis virus and investigated amino acid homeostasis in Candida albicans. My research integrates molecular, microscopic, and genomic approaches.
