About
I am an analytical chemist and mass spectrometrist with research interests in advanced mass spectrometry, untargeted omics, exposomics, and chemical characterization. My scientific interests focus on developing and applying high-resolution mass spectrometry to investigate complex chemical systems, biological samples, environmental exposures, and food-related chemical profiles.
My research interests include chemical identification, exposure assessment, metabolomics, proteomics, non-targeted chemical screening, food authenticity and safety, and the integration of mass spectrometry with chemometrics and machine-learning approaches. I am particularly interested in combining accurate-mass, MS/MS, and ion mobility measurements with computational approaches to improve the characterization of known, unknown, and emerging chemical exposures and to understand their associated molecular changes.
My long-term research vision is to advance mass spectrometry-based approaches for health and environmental safety, linking chemical exposure with biological response and associated risk. I aim to contribute to integrated analytical and multi-omics strategies that improve our understanding of real-world exposures, their effects on human health and the environment, and their implications for exposure assessment and risk evaluation.
