About
I am a researcher specializing in the chemical ecology of aquatic systems, with a focus on ‘phytoplankton–pathogen interactions. My work explores the complex chemical communication networks that
govern microbial behavior, bloom formation, and susceptibility to pathogenic threats by employing cutting-edge analytical tools such as mass spectrometry and metabolomics, I am interested in investigating how molecular signaling shapes ecosystem dynamics. My research provides critical insights into the biological and chemical drivers of phytoplankton blooms, contributing to our understanding of marine ecosystem resilience and informing strategies for climate change mitigation.
