Dr. Sachin Paul is an Assistant Professor at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam, Kerala. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, specializing in Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC). His research focuses on the characterization and durability of cementitious materials, with extensive involvement in both national and international research projects related to TRC. Dr. Paul has contributed to the development of fabrication and testing techniques for TRC at IIT Madras and possesses significant expertise in the design, modeling, and durability evaluation of TRC elements. He is an active member of the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), RILEM, and the Ferrocement Society.
