About

I am Ravikumar, an experienced and dedicated educator with 13+ years of teaching experience both locally and overseas. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working with diverse social and cultural backgrounds, which has enriched my perspective and teaching approach.

Education and Achievements:
Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia. I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, India, in 2025. I completed my Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from VMRF University, Salem, India, in 2013. My educational foundation began with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2010. In 2015, I earned my Mini MBA from the Swiss eLearning Institute, Switzerland, which provided me with valuable insights into business management and leadership.

Teaching Experience:
Currently, I am contributing as an Assistant Professor-III at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, Karnataka, India. In this role, I teach, mentor, and coordinate projects within the Department of Computer Engineering. My expertise lies in Advanced Java Technology, .NET Technologies, Machine Learning, Data Science, Core Java, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor at RNB Global University, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India, where I spent 1.8 years honing my teaching skills and mentoring students. My commitment to education also led me to Builders Engineering College, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, India, where I served as an Assistant Professor for 1.4 years. Additionally, I had the privilege of being an IT Lecturer at MCTC, Dubai, UAE, contributing my expertise for a few months. In the Republic of Maldives, I worked as an IT Lecturer at CITM for about 4 years, where I actively participated in the administration of degree and diploma courses.

Passion for Continuous Learning:
I strongly believe in the power of education to transform lives and empower individuals to achieve their full potential. This belief has driven me to participate in various professional development activities. I actively participate in workshops, conferences, and international journal publications to stay up to date with the latest advancements in Computer Science.

Research Activities Club:
I am also the Lead in RAC, wherein I mentor and guide students in research projects, paper writing, and publication.

Mentoring and Industry Readiness:
As an educator, I take immense pride in preparing students for the challenges of the real world. My creative lesson plans and boundless energy create an engaging and inspiring learning environment for my students.
