About
I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of New Mexico, interested in high-performance computing (HPC), quantum computing, and computational science.
My core research interests lie in designing, optimizing, and scaling the underlying software systems and architectures required for complex scientific workloads. I have conducted HPC scheduling and resource‑management research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), publishing in SC and ICPP. At the National Laboratory of the Rockies, I bridged domain‑science goals with computational tools in an electron‑microscopy and materials‑science group, building an AI‑augmented RAG/LLM research assistant that accelerated materials‑characterization workflows. The project, now a preprint under review in Nature Machine Intelligence, attracted interest from Google DeepMind and NVIDIA and demonstrated how HPC and AI optimizations can be deployed in real scientific settings. My long‑term goal is to design, optimize, and scale the software systems that enable HPC and emerging quantum technologies to drive breakthroughs at the intersection of theoretical computer science and applied hard science.
