About

I, Ankit Garg graduated from Govt. Engineering College, KOTA, India in 2015. He received honours in Electrical Engineering. I received an M.Tech. Degree in Power System Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad (IIT Dhanbad) in 2019 with 9.25 CGPA. After I worked for 2 years in L&T Construction in Power Transmission & Distribution IC at Chennai. Currently I am pursuing a Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, India. My research topic is "Some Investigations on Multi Carrier Energy Systems". My research interests include electric vehicles, power systems, system modelling and optimization. The focus of my research revolves around the modeling of hydrogen storage and the implementation of carbon capture and storage, as well as the analysis of carbon markets. My work aims to understand and improve low carbon energy systems. I have a strong interest in green energy, which has motivated me to become proficient in various software programs such as GAMS, ETAP, PYTHON, PLEXOS, MATLAB and Homer. The software I use enables me to gain valuable insights into the evaluation of energy markets, modeling low carbon energy systems, and conducting analysis for long-term regional energy planning. Previously, I had served as a Vice Chair of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society MNIT Student Branch Chapter. Currently I am working as a Chair of IEEE IAS SB MNIT Jaipur, Vice-Chair of IEEE-SB MNIT and IEEE-PES. He contributed to the body of knowledge by publishing several research papers in international conferences. I am a Member of Various socities like as IEEE Young Professional, IEEE Biometrics Council, IEEE-AESS and IEEE Transportation Electrification Council. Ankit Garg, a student member of IEEE, is not only influencing the academic world but also playing a role in pushing technology and
research forward. I had attended the 2025 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting Incorporating I&CPS-Asia Conference, which was held in Taipei, Taiwan from June 15, 2025 to June 20, 2025. He has contributed to the field through several research publications in international Journals and Conferences. In his leadership role, He is committed to fostering academic-industry collaboration through high-value expert talks, technical webinars, and inter-society initiatives. His efforts aim to build a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and innovation among academia and industry stakeholders.
