About
I am Saravanan S, a researcher specializing in Materials Science, Perovskite Photovoltaics, Electrochemical Energy Storage, and Emerging Optoelectronic technologies. My research focuses on developing advanced functional materials and device architectures for sustainable energy applications, with particular emphasis on HTL-free Carbon-based Perovskite Solar Cells, additive engineering, surface passivation, and interface engineering.
My research experience also includes the synthesis and electrochemical characterization of transition-metal-based nanomaterials and carbon composites for supercapacitors and water-splitting applications. I have experience in materials synthesis, structural and morphological characterization, electrochemical analysis, and photovoltaic and optoelectronic device fabrication.
Currently, my research activities include Perovskite and Organic light-emitting devices (PeLEDs and OLEDs), focusing on material optimization, device fabrication, and interface engineering. My broader research interests include Next-generation Energy conversion and Storage materials, Electrochemical energy technologies, functional materials, and sustainable optoelectronic devices.
I have contributed to peer-reviewed research publications and presented my research at national and international conferences. My long-term research goal is to develop innovative materials and technologies for sustainable energy conversion, energy storage, and next-generation optoelectronics.
