Dr. Aqib Gul is a PhD-level data scientist and statistician with advanced expertise in probabilistic modeling, time-series analysis, and machine-learning systems, currently serving as Senior Project Associate (Data Science & Monitoring) under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) at SKUAST-Kashmir. His work focuses on designing and deploying real-time forecasting frameworks, hybrid statistical–ML models, and decision-support platforms for agriculture, forestry, health, and environmental applications. He has extensive experience in regression modeling, deep learning, model diagnostics, KPI development, dashboarding, and reproducible analytical pipelines, and has led AI-enabled market intelligence systems for horticultural commodities. Dr. Gul has completed numerous applied and freelance analytical projects across domains, contributed to peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, co-invented a registered AI-based crop quality assessment device, and actively engages in capacity building, training programs, and policy-oriented research that bridges advanced analytics with real-world decision making.
