I am a plant breeder & researcher specializing in pulse and vegetable crop improvement, with particular expertise in disease resistance, genetic divergence, combining ability and molecular diagnostics. My work integrates classical breeding approaches with molecular and transcriptomic tools to enhance resistance against viral pathogens such as BCMV and to improve yield-related traits. Contributed peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and actively engages in DUS characterization, germplasm evaluation and advanced statistical genetic analyses. My research is driven by the objective of developing resilient, high-performing cultivars for sustainable agricultural systems.
