About
Dr. Anwer is graduated (B Sc Ag) from Allahabad Agricultural Institute, Naini, Allahabad and did M Sc Ag and Ph. D in Plant Pathology from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. During his M Sc study got university merit scholarship. At present Dr. Anwer is working as Asstt. Prof. cum Jr. Scientist, Department of Plant Pathology, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. He is teaching under graduate as well as post graduate students of the university and also engaged in developing low cost abiotic stress tolerant microbial biopesticides having increased shelf life. Another area of his research is to recognize key diseases and their hot spots through survey and surveillance of major crops under agro-ecological condition of Bihar. His research is also in the field of biological control of postharvest diseases of fruit crops. He is also associated with more than eight research groups viz. maize research team, organic farming, host parasite research groups, bacteriology research group, mycology research group, biopesticides & bio-fertilizer research groups and product development and marketing research group. Recently he did MoU for his recently released technology with two private companies, M/S Khitiz Agro Tech Pvt. Ltd., and M/S Patel Patel Agri Organic Biotech Pvt. Ltd. for commercial production and marketing of Sabour-Trichoderma-1. He has more than 42 publications in his credit including peer reviewed research papers, books and book chapters. His most of the publications are from USA, UK and Italy.
