Overview:
I am Amit Banerjee. I am 27 Years old. I am a Bibliophile. Being a researcher in Geography, I have a special penchant for exploring and preserving the environment and also for spending time social activities. Though I am a scholar, I never hold myself back from learning.

Bio:
I passed Secondary Examination from Ikrah Basanti Bijoy High School (I.B.B.H.S.) with 80.43% marks in 2014. Then I have successfully completed Higher Secondary from the same school with 85.00% marks in 2016. After that I went to Triveni Devi Bhalotia College (Raniganj, 713347), under Kazi Nazrul University (Asansol) to pursue B.A with Honours in Geography and I have successfully completed B.A with CGPA 8.41 (84.10% according to the university) in the year of 2019. Then to pursue M.A. in Geography I went to The University of Burdwan (Golapbag Campus, 713104) and completed M.A. (Specialization in Regional Planning and Development) with CGPA 8.53 (80.30% according to the university) in the year of 2021. In December 2020 and June 2021 (Merged Cycle) I have cracked UGC-NET (for Assistant Professor only). In 2022 I have cracked West Bengal-State Eligibility Test (WBSET). Then I have joined for regular Ph.D/D.Phil programme in Geography at The University of Burdwan in the year of 2022 and now I am continuing this degree. I am well versed with computer having efficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point Presentation, STATA, SPSS, ERDAS Imagine, MapInfo and G.I.S (Arc & Quantum both). I have great interest in the field of Population and Family Health Studies, Sustainable Wellbeing, and Regional Development. Apart from all these, I am always ready to explore new aspects of research.
