About
Pravin Diliban Nadarajah is a Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Civil Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Greater Noida, India. His research is centered on sustainable building practices, focusing on energy-efficient and bioclimatic building design. Currently, he is exploring strategies for "Net-Zero Energy Housing" in both present and future climates in India.
Pravin holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University and an M.Tech in Energy Technology from Tezpur University. His Master's thesis on bioclimatic classification and energy potential for Sri Lanka set the foundation for his ongoing research in climate-responsive architecture and energy-efficient buildings.
His research interests include thermal comfort, occupant behavior, bioclimatic building design, and net-zero energy buildings. Pravin has contributed to several high-impact journals and presented his work at prominent international conferences. He utilizes building energy simulation tools and data-driven methodologies to influence the development of building standards and energy efficiency regulations
