About

I am a Senior Resident in the Department of Endocrinology & Metabolism at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where I am pursuing a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes. My DM dissertation, investigates the prevalence and risk factors of sarcopenia in Type 1 Diabetes, supported by a research grant from the Endocrine Society of Delhi.

My research interests span sarcopenia, obesity and diabetes mellitus. I have published in peer-reviewed journals including Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research & Reviews, and have contributed book chapters to the API Textbook of Medicine. I serve as a peer reviewer for several indexed journals, including the Indian Journal of Endocrinology & Metabolism and Endocrine Connections.

I have been recognized with multiple national and international awards, including the Dr. VR Joshi Award for Outstanding Referee (Journal of Association of Physicians of India, 2025), Dr. B. Sadhukan Research Scholar Award (Endocrine Society of India, 2024), Resident of The Year Award (American College of Physicians India, 2022) and Silver Medal (International Biology Olympiad, 2014).

I have received Best Poster and Oral Presentation prizes at national endocrine conferences. I have received a travel grant from the International Society of Endocrinology for my research.
