About

Dr. Abhijit Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Sandip University, Bihar. He completed his PhD in Library and Information Science from the Central University of Tamil Nadu and earned his M.Phil. in Library and Information Science from the University of Kalyani, where he secured First Class First position and was awarded a Gold Medal.

His research interests include Open Access Publishing, Open Science, Research Data Management, Data Carpentry, Bibliometrics, Scientometrics, and Scholarly Communication. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented his research findings at numerous national and international conferences. His current research focuses on open scholarly infrastructures, metadata quality, research evaluation, and the application of data-driven approaches to library and information science research.
