About
Avishek Das received the B. Sc degree in Electronics from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 2010, the M. Sc degree in Electronic Science from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Science from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 2018. He joined the Departamento de Física, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil, in 2019, where he was a postdoctoral researcher. He joined the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, ISU in July 2023. His current research interest includes Photoacoustic imaging. Dr. Das was a recipient of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) with Lectureship award by University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2012 and the University Gold Medal by Jadavpur University, in 2012.
