Dr. Shah was born in 1989 in Aishmuqam, a renowned religious and Tourist spot in the Kashmir Valley. He completed his graduation, post-graduation, and Doctoral degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, Aligarh, Muslim University in 2022. Dr. Shaeyuq Ahmad Shah is an academic, researcher, and legal scholar with expertise in constitutional law, international law, human rights, and emerging areas of public law. He is deeply engaged in interdisciplinary research that examines the interface between law, governance, security, and social justice, with a particular focus on contemporary constitutional challenges in India and comparative legal systems. His teaching interests include constitutional law, administrative law, human rights law, environmental and maritime governance, and legal aspects of security and migration. He is known for his interactive and concept-driven pedagogical approach, which aims to develop critical legal reasoning and analytical skills among students. As a researcher, Dr. Shah has authored and contributed to numerous scholarly articles, policy-oriented papers, and academic commentaries, which have been published in reputable journals and edited volumes. His research explores themes such as environmental constitutionalism, data protection and privacy, asylum and migration, military justice, and ocean governance, reflecting a strong commitment to law reform and rights-based governance. Dr. Shah has participated in national and international conferences, workshops, and academic forums, and frequently engages with contemporary legal and policy debates through lectures, invited talks, and expert discussions. He is also involved in academic administration and research coordination, including publication-related and institutional academic initiatives.
