About
I am fascinated by the mechanisms of early crustal formation and the nature of magmatism associated with plate tectonics and particularly intrigued by how these mechanisms influence the variation of Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and radionuclides enrichment within minerals. My research interest focuses on exploration of Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and Radionuclides using advanced geophysical and geochemical techniques. One of my primary research objectives is to delineate the nature of the enrichment of REEs and obtain suitable proxy data for paleo-geographical reconstruction. I am deeply engaged in radiometric studies, aiming to unravel the nature of radioactive minerals and understand the mechanisms behind incorporation of radionuclides within minerals. Additionally, my research delves into the geochemical, radiochemical, geochronological and textural characterization of sediments/grains, to constrain the provenance and evolution history. Moreover, I am actively involved in employing remote sensing approaches to investigate the presence of radioactive minerals. Furthermore, my work extends to geochronology and geochemical analysis of detrital zircon grains, contributing to the understanding of plate tectonics and Paleo-geographic reconstruction. My focus is on detrital zircon, which preserves crystallization age and characteristics, and garnet, which retains metamorphic age. Because my research is interdisciplinary, I've developed a large network of national and international collaborations.
