Dr. Abhilash Chand is an Assistant Professor in the School of Advanced Sciences (Mathematics) at VIT-AP University, Amaravati, India. His research interests focus on Applied and Computational Mathematics, with a particular emphasis on developing and analyzing efficient local discontinuous Galerkin finite element methods and formulating robust analytical techniques to study nonlinear higher-order partial differential and evolution equations. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, Odisha, India, and obtained his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, India. Dr. Chand is also an active researcher and regularly serves as a reviewer for several leading international academic publishers.
