Sudhanshu Kumar is currently doing Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India. He joined Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Mayank Tiwari and Dr. Surajit Kumar Paul in July 2018. He has submitted the Thesis titled “‘Rolling-Sliding Contacts in Tribological Components at Micro and Atomic Scale". His research interests include:
• Rolling/sliding contact fatigue simulation of Rail-wheel using Twin-disc set-up.
• Molecular dynamic simulation of sliding contact.
• Finite element simulation of Rolling/sliding contact.
He is actively looking for Academic and Research & Development position (Postdoctoral or Research Associate) in the above-mentioned research domain, where he can utilize all his skills to get new insights in the field of Surface Engineering.
