About
I have over twenty two years of teaching, training and research experience with reputed institutes. I did my Doctorate in Management from M.S. University of Baroda, Gujarat.
Presently, I am working as Professor and Head, Centre of Excellence in Customer Analytics at ISBR Business School Bengaluru. Prior to this, I had worked with Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar, Indian Institute of Management Rohtak; Institute of Management Technology Nagpur and Institute of Management, Nirma University as a faculty and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad as an Academic Associate.
From the past nineteen years, I have been teaching various courses for Undergraduates, PG programmes, MDPs and FDPs. The courses that I had taught across academic institutions of repute are Marketing Management, Retail Management, Product & Brand Management, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Research and International Marketing at PG level and Marketing Theory in FPM programme.
I am the recipient of "Best Faculty Award" IARE Awards in 2019. I also reviewed thesis of two PhD scholars and has been an external examiner for them.
One of my case is recently published in Asian Journal of Management Cases, Sage. Apart from this, I had published research papers in International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing, International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management, Emerald; Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Taylor & Francis; International Journal for Business Innovation and Research, Inderscience Publications; Code of business conduct: pharma marketing at a crossroads, Perspectives on International Corporate Responsibility and co-authored a case ‘Planet health’ published in Vikalpa: The Journal for Decision Makers. I had also published papers in various national and international journals. I am also the Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Marketing & Business Communication, a peer reviewed journal of Publishing India Group (ISSN: 2277-484X)
Research Core areas: Retail luxury branding and buying behaviour, Omni-channel retail strategy, Sustainable retail strategy and Pharmaceutical retail branding strategy.
Teaching Core areas: Product and Brand Management, Marketing Research, Retail Management, Marketing Analytics and International Marketing.
Training Core areas: Case Writing and Teaching, Marketing Research, Retail Branding and Effective Marketing Analytics tool for performance measurement
