About
I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology, Central Agricultural University Imphal, Ranipool. I obtained my M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Land and Water Resources Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, West Bengal, India. I was a recipient of the MHRD fellowship during my M.Tech. and Ph.D. studies and have qualified in national-level examinations such as GATE and NET. My research focuses on precision farming, IoT-based irrigation, protected cultivation, vertical farming, and modelling the Water-Energy-Food nexus. I have published over 11 research articles and review papers in highly esteemed national and international journals, alongside numerous book chapters and conference proceedings. Furthermore, I am actively involved in teaching, research, and extension activities.
