A scholar, teacher, a man with perseverance and good interpersonal skills, Dr. Dev Brat Gupta is widely recognized for his experience in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT), English Literature, Teaching Learning Pedagogy. Dr. Dev Brat Gupta studied for the MA in English, M. Phil. in English Literature and Ph.D. in English Language Teaching (ELT) from School of Studies in English, Vikram University, Ujjain, India. Dr. Dev has 20 years of teaching and administrative experience and has been associated in the field of research since last 15 years. Presently Dr. Dev is working as an Assistant Professor in School of Advanced Sciences and Languages (SASL), VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology), Bhopal University, Madhya Pradesh, India. Prior to joining VIT Bhopal University, Dr. Dev has worked at various levels up to Academic Head and Head of Department in Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur and Arya Group of Colleges, Jaipur, Rajasthan. He has got published 14 authored/edited books, 03 book chapters in edited books/anthologies and 17 research papers in SCI/Scopus/UGC Care indexed journals. He has also presented papers and participated in International/National Conferences and Seminars as well as International and National Workshops, along with more than 20 conferences, workshops, seminars and FDPs. Dr. Dev has also been granted and got published 04 Patents (03 UK Patents and 01 Indian Patent). He is also a member, editor and reviewer in many National/International Double Blind Peer Reviewed, Referred, Multilingual, Multidisciplinary and Indexed Journal. Dr. Dev has also delivered many lectures/expert talks on multiple topics related to Communication Skills, Professional Communication, Soft Skills, Campus Recruitment Training, Cross Culture Communication and on Employability etc. in many engineering colleges / universities in India. Dr. Dev has also received several awards in the field of academics and research including Notable Personalities of India 2024 by Business Talkz Magazine, Award for Excellence in Teaching in Higher Education, International Academic Achievers Award 2022-23, CSSR – New Delhi, IWA, Bogdani Prize-2023 from International Writers Association, Pristina, Republic of Kosovo.
