About
Shikha received her Doctorate from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India in Sept. 2017. She received her M.Tech. from Electrical Engg. Dept., Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India in June 2010. She joined CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur, India as a Scientist in August 2010. She has performed significant research in various biomedical and engineering domain in the Department of Instrumentation & Applied Physics, Indian Institute of Science from August 2012 till August 2016. Currently she is continuing her work on sensors and instrumentation in the Robotics & Automation Division, CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur, India. Dr Shikha is also serving as an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Sciences Discipline for AcSIR, India. She is a recipient of CSIR Young Scientist Award in Physical Sciences Discipline (including Instrumentation) for the year 2019. Her current research interest includes FBG sensors applications for biomedical sensing and engineering field, sensor devising for robotic applications, smart sensors and instrumentation.
